This week we are in Granada and just attending classes. Spain has welcomed a lovely cold front and it´s been freezing. But it´s wonderful to walk around the city and then sit in a warm café and have hot chocolate and churros. And by hot chocolate, I mean hot chocolate pudding....to die for. January is the sale month for Spain, so all of the stores are offering Rebajas (sales), and honestly, you can pass an entire afternoon just wandering from store to store. This morning my class had a scavenger hunt around one of the main plazas and they had to find all sorts of things like a white coat, wool socks, a belt that cost more that 35 euros. It was really fun and they did a great job.
The inaugaration was a pretty big deal here. All of the bars put it on, and the Spaniards were really excited. It was so neat to watch history taking place.
I miss you guys and I´ll see you soon!
Love,
Annie
