Segovia, El Escorial y friiiiiiiio

Hi Guys! We´ve done so much this week. The Prado yesterday, which was fun, but they only had older paintings (no Picasso), and yesterday was a big holiday for them so everything was closed or closed early. It was kind of a bummer b/c I wanted to go to the Reina Sofia museum to see Picasso and Dalí, but I´m thinking Leo and I can do this when we´re in Madrid. Today we went to Segovia, which was beautiful and we saw the alcázar (castle in arabic) which had incredible views. It was snowing and the town was deserted and it was pretty magical. We also saw el Escorial, which is a monastery built by Phillip II. It has 4000 rooms, imagínate! Janea your comment cracked me up, because there was something in that bag for me and for you...hahaha, you know me very well!

I miss you guys a lot and wish you were all here. That is the only thing that could make this trip perfect :)

Love you,
Annie

  3. Well you will be happy to know that slower lower delaware has actually gotten slower since you've left. It's been raining and cold here....and the most exciting thing of the day was I had done the same thing you got done at Fabrizio's if you know what I'm talking about..hehe....and let me tell you this...PAIN!!! People heard me screaming from the other room..they all gave me looks of sympathy..hehe..(By the way your parents are leaving such wonderful insightful messages..if you just want to skip on over my silly lacking substance messages..that's ok..And a present for me...hmm oh you shouldn't have (that's what I'm supposed to say but hehehe thank you thank you thank you)!
